About

Common Welfare is an art project and quiet protest against the loudest nonsense.

We’ve reached a point where public libraries, national parks, electric cars, and Elmo are political statements. Where people rage against rainbows and recycling bins, not because they’ve thought it through—but because their favorite pundit told them to.

Somewhere along the way, basic decency and shared spaces became partisan. People picked a team, then started booing everything the other side touched, no matter how harmless, helpful, or human it was.

It’s not ideology—it’s instinct. Blame someone. Hate something. Find an enemy. All while the real issues go untouched.

Common Welfare exists to point a finger—not at people, but at the absurdity. To remind you that the world isn’t red or blue. It’s green. It’s public. It’s shared. And it’s worth fighting for in quieter, smarter ways.

None of this should be political. But here we are.
